Following the rally, the March starts at Federal Plaza (50 W. Adams) and end at the Hilton (720 S. Michigan Ave.)
From the Convention to the rally and then marching back to the Convention Center is about 2 miles or less.

As in previous years, rally attendees may enter Federal Plaza from many points. The plaza is not gated, it does not have designated entry checkpoints, and it is not ticketed.
The Illinois State mask mandate does not apply to outdoor events. For this type of event, the City of Chicago Departments of Public Health (CDPH) recommends all attendees wear masks “whenever social distancing cannot be maintained”. For more of the CDPH’s guidelines, visit their website.
The City of Chicago’s proof of vaccination order does not apply to the rally or march.

The Hilton is NOT requiring proof of vaccination to enter the Hilton and attend Convention events (Expo, Educational session, Diaper Drive, Youth Rally, Mass or LCMS gathering), visit the restrooms, or stay overnight. Please note there we will be no food or beverage served at these event.
Food options will be available in the Hilton for Convention attendees. The Herb N’ Kitchen is a coffee and grab and go cafe that does not require proof of vaccination. Other locations in the hotel, such as the sit down restaurant, do require proof of vaccination.
Also, the State of Illinois requires masks at all indoor public settings. Masks can be removed at restaurants, bars and other eating/drinking establishments by patrons when they are actively eating/drinking while stationary. The Hilton has posted signs to this effect.

No. The Convention is free to attend, but registration is required. (Register here)
Pre-registration is highly encouraged to avoid long lines. In 2020, the Convention reached capacity and some people. While the Convention is now at larger location, the best opportunity to attend is to secure your spot now!

The Convention is open to everyone! Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome to attend. The Hilton is accessible to all. Please ask a volunteer if you need assistance finding elevators or other accommodations.

No. You just need to complete the free registration for the Convention and select your the session(s) you would like to attend.

Planning an overnight stay in Chicago allows for full involvement in the weekend events. It also safeguards any problems with travel and inclement weather. The March will happen rain, snow, or shine.
