Vision

We mark with deep sadness the great tragedy of the legalization of abortion in the United States along with the devastating social, moral, and legal consequences that have followed. Our vision is that, marching together in hope, we call upon religious, civic, and community leaders to renew every effort to build a nation that affirms the authentic dignity of women and men, the gift of children, and a culture dedicated to protecting life at every stage of development in law and love.

Purpose

Our purpose is to provide an annual public event composed of people from diverse ethnic, social, and religious backgrounds dedicated to defending and protecting all human life.

History

From 2013 to 2020, the March for Life Chicago grew from 150 people to 9,000!

In 2013, the late Cardinal George united several pro-life organizations in Chicago and Illinois to build up the March for Life Chicago, which formed the basis for growth. weDignify was one of the first groups and played in a key leadership role throughout the formative years. To attract people from all over the Midwest, in 2020 weDignify presented a Convention with the March for Life Chicago. People came from 13 different states and overflowed the Convention center out onto Michigan Ave. To help meet the increasing needs and expanding reach, the March for Life Chicago board voted to become a program of weDignify in early 2020. Continuing to unite many pro-life organizations, weDignify proudly oversees the largest pro-life event in the Midwest.

WEDIGNIFY TEACHES STUDENTS HOW TO EFFECTIVELY SAVE LIVES ON THEIR CAMPUS

We mentor college students into skilled, virtuous, pro-life leaders, so they can build and nurture a culture of life on campus and in their future communities.

WEDIGNIFY DREAMS BEYOND THE TRAGEDY OF ABORTION AND INTO A CULTURE OF LIFE.

We envision college campuses to be centers for a culture of life where people treat life with love, new life is welcomed with joy, and people suffering from abortion are led to healing hope.

Archdiocese of Chicago – The mission of the Office of Human Dignity and Solidarity is to form and accompany the people of the Archdiocese of Chicago to respond to the Gospel call, to recognize the dignity of all life and be in solidarity with our sisters and brothers on the margins. By doing this, we transform the lives of others through service as Christ’s missionary disciples.

Illinois Right to Life – we strive to be on the cutting edge of the pro-life movement with our educational approaches, research, and technologies. We are working to build the pro-life movement by using every channel possible to communicate credible pro-life education, including: in person media interviews, public speaking engagements, and social media and other online sources. We continue to see positive growth in all categories as we focus on our goal of turning Illinois pro-life.

Lake County Right to Life – is located in Lake County Illinois. We are an educational and advocacy organization for the protection of innocent human life. There are three components to our organization. Our educational arm provides education on the life issues.
